Portrait photography you actually recognise yourself in
Most people dislike their own photos because the shoot felt awkward. With me a session is a conversation — and the images show exactly who you are.
Who it's for
Families, expecting mothers, couples, freelancers and anyone who hasn't had a decent photo of themselves in years. I shoot in the studio with controlled light and outdoors in natural light — we pick whichever suits you.
What a portrait session includes
- Consultation about style, location and wardrobe
- 60–90 minute session in studio or outdoors
- A relaxed pace with a proper warm-up
- Joint selection from an online gallery
- Retouched, high-resolution images
- Versions optimised for web and print
Why it works
- No posing required — I direct you throughout: what to do with your hands, where to look. You don't have to be a model.
- Controlled light — In the studio I know exactly what light flatters. Outdoors we find the right hour for it.
- Usable results — Images are delivered ready for LinkedIn, your website or the wall.
How it works
- Consultation — We discuss what the photos are for and the mood you're after.
- Preparation — I help with wardrobe choices and picking the location.
- The session — Informal and conversational — the best frames usually happen in the third quarter of an hour.
- Selection & retouching — You choose from an online gallery and I finish the selected images.
Frequently asked questions
- What should I wear? Simple, clean pieces you feel comfortable in. I send a short guide before the shoot.
- How long does it take? Usually 60–90 minutes; family sessions with children can run a bit longer.
- Do I get the raw files? No — I deliver finished images only, it's part of the style.
- What if it rains outdoors? There's always a plan B: a covered location or a rescheduled date at no extra cost.
